7. I don't think I really have much worth stealing and they would be wasting their time on me when there's much richer people in GW (I have 1 ecto and then gave up farming ectos). I've tried changing it but I'm not too sure how to and I never tell anyone my password.

7.
I bought some stuff from the ingame store back before I knew that it was a bad idea and got mired in the PlayNC goo of impossible password-changing (which I admittedly didn't think about until recently when all of these hacks started happening). I can't even give them the account serial numbers they're requesting from the games I actually bought in a store because they're all buried away somewhere in boxes in my basement while we renovate our new house (and they're not on top-- I looked). Awesome!! I have an account and I can access it. It seems like changing my password should be less of a complete hell-invoking hassle.

Not as worried as I used to be about a year ago. If a hacker got into my account, sure it would suck, but I'd get over it quicker than i would have if it happened a year ago.
But yeah, not really that worried at all....

5, Monthly passwords have been my routine since 1996.
It was bad enough when I had to worry about getting banned for moving gold between my two accounts, know I find myself logging on just to check everything is still there.

Somewhere between around 5.
It worries me, but I only change my pass about every 2 months, using hard-to-guess passwords. I also use seperate email accounts for everything and I don't DL any 3rd party stuff related to GW whatsoever, not even texmods.
Still, I had a friend who lost everything to a hacker a year ago, so it's been a concern for me after seeing what he went through. I don't think I'd continue playing if the same thing happened to me.

I guess I am a 7. Honestly, falling victim to a keylogger is simply cyber-Darwinism. It is related to the reasoning behind why Microsoft eventually conceived and delivered the bastard known as UAC in Vista.

7. Nothing in my account is worth stealing. QQ
But technically, hackers could still get your password even if it was 45327 or as34fas2f4&as5d, right?

Auto-login makes you safe from keyloggers though. To be completely honest, I think you're less likely to get hacked with it that without. Not enough people use it for the hackers to make something that will steal it that way.
Anyway, I'm a 7, I never change passwords unless I need to. I got several E-mail adresses to use for signing up to things, based on how much I trust them.
Never downloaded anything that could be a keylogger in any way, shape or form.
So I feel pretty safe. IMO most people getting "hacked" are mostly responsible themselves.
I think those people changing all passwords every month are completele nervewracks

How do I feel?
- Never had faith in PlayNC security
- Used to have strong faith in Anet security, but not anymore

- I'd like to change my password, but like so many others the PlayNC account bullshit stops me in my tracks. But overall I'm not too scared, just so long as I'm careful on the internet.
Anet really does need to give us a better way of changing our password.
